Is the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica a good car?

The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica is a solid choice if you want a family vehicle that feels more polished than many minivans, though it comes with a few trade-offs. Its user rating is 3.71/5, and owners commonly praise the luxurious feel, smooth drive, spacious interior, and useful technology.

It also fits well if you value a versatile cabin and family-focused convenience, especially with features like the rear-seat camera view and the practical interior layout. At the same time, some owners mention concerns with the stop/start feature and occasional entertainment-system issues.

With 32.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica reliable?

The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica stands out as a modern, stylish minivan with a strong mix of family-friendly practicality and upscale touches. Owners often describe it as one of the best vehicles they've had, and they particularly like the smooth drive, spacious interior, and useful technology.

That said, some drivers have reported occasional issues with the entertainment system, so you should pay close attention to how the electronics behave during a test drive. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure any prior electronic or comfort-related issues have been sorted before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chrysler Pacifica?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 302 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.25% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,815 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?

The current average of $33,166 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,794 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy with less risk of overpaying today, but it also means future resale values may stay under pressure if the market remains soft. If you plan to sell later, buying closer to the low end of the range gives you more room to absorb depreciation. A well-kept Pacifica with desirable equipment should still be easier to move than one with visible wear or unresolved issues.

Should I buy a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.25% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,480 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $33,166 CAD average.
• It adds only colour updates.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better primary pick if you want stronger value and more room to negotiate. If you are price-sensitive, the 2023 makes more sense than stepping up to the 2024, since the newer model asks for more money without much added substance.
