Used 2023 Chevrolet Blazer for Sale nearOttawa, ON

How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer cost?

Prices have softened 12.74% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 143 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and an expert score of 7.17/10, the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer lands as a strong pick if you want style and everyday comfort. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise its sporty design, comfort, power, roomy interior, and quiet ride. That lines up well with its use case as a modern, road-focused midsize crossover that feels more refined than rugged.

The trade-offs are clear: expert testing calls out fairly pedestrian performance and poor fuel economy, and advanced safety features are not standard. Even so, if you want a distinctive SUV with a comfortable cabin and a strong feature set, it fits that brief well.

With 30.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. User feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise for the Blazer’s comfort, quiet ride, and overall value.

The expert assessment reinforces that sense of durability and everyday usability, describing it as a competent, on-road crossover rather than something that asks much of you in daily driving. Chevy’s three-year, 60,000-kilometre bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty also provide a reasonable ownership cushion.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is not mechanical drama so much as living with a model that can be expensive to fuel and may not feel especially advanced unless it’s well equipped.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Blazer?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LT is the entry point, while True North, Premier, and RS add more equipment and a more upscale or sportier feel. Base models are the ones most likely to leave you wanting more, especially if you care about convenience and appearance features.
• Powertrain: The LT comes standard with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, while a 3.6-litre V6 is optional on LT and standard on the other trims. The V6 brings stronger performance, but it also comes with higher fuel consumption.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and Teen Driver monitoring. Adaptive cruise control is available on all trims, but it is not standard.
• Infotainment: A 10.2-inch touchscreen is standard, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and SiriusXM satellite radio. Wireless charging is available on all trims, but it is standard only on RS and Premier.
• Fuel efficiency: The base four-cylinder is rated at 10.8 L/100 km city, 8.7 highway, and 9.9 combined. The V6 is rated at 12.6 L/100 km city, 9.2 highway, and 11.0 combined.

Which 2023 Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LT, True North, Premier, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the value play if you want the Blazer’s style and core tech without stretching too far. It gives you the standard turbo-four, the 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the standard safety suite, but you’ll need to step up or add options for some of the nicer convenience features.
• True North: This trim is the middle-ground choice if you want a more complete everyday package without jumping straight to the top end. It builds on the LT with a better balance of equipment and is a sensible pick if you want more comfort and convenience without chasing the highest price.
• Premier: This is the better-equipped luxury-leaning choice, especially if you want more of the Blazer’s upscale feel. It gets the V6 standard, plus features like built-in navigation, the Bose audio system, and the larger instrument display.
• RS: This is the most style-forward trim and the one to choose if you want the Blazer’s sportiest look and the most premium presentation. It also gets the V6 standard, wireless charging, the larger instrument display, and the strongest visual treatment.

Safety-wise, adaptive cruise control is available on all trims, but it was previously limited to the higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Blazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 143 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.74% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $31,037 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $31,366 CAD sits slightly below last year's $35,946 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Blazer has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilises. If you buy well now, you may have less downside left than a shopper who paid closer to the higher end of the range last year.

The flip side is that resale strength will depend heavily on trim, condition, and equipment. Better-equipped versions with the V6 and desirable options should be easier to move than a sparsely equipped example.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer safe?

The 2023 Blazer earns Good ratings from IIHS in all six crash-test categories, plus Superior and Advanced ratings for front-crash prevention. It also earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover testing.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard Chevy Safety Assist package includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and Teen Driver monitoring. Adaptive cruise control is available on all trims for 2023, but it is not standard equipment.

One caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard across the range, so you’ll want to check the exact trim and option content carefully if driver assistance matters to you.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a new 10.2-inch touchscreen and broader availability of wireless charging and adaptive cruise control.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $28,780 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $31,366 CAD average.
• It offers sporty styling and practical everyday usability.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better choice if you want the refreshed tech, broader safety availability, and a model year that has already softened in price. If your priority is simply paying less up front, the 2022 remains a sensible alternative, especially if you can live without the newer updates.
