Is the 2023 Audi Q7 a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Audi Q7 earns a 4/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a three-row luxury SUV with a practical cabin and strong everyday usability. The overview points to comfortable front and second-row seating, a smaller third row that works best for children, and a cargo area that is genuinely useful for family duty. It also stands out for its clean design, broad technology appeal, and the added capability of the turbocharged V6, especially if you want a refined SUV that can handle daily driving and towing. With 35.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2023 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests the Q7’s reliability picture is mixed in the way many luxury SUVs can be: it offers strong everyday usability, but premium fuel requirements and potentially high repair costs can raise ownership expenses. Its practical cabin and well-rounded design are positives for used buyers, but you should still budget carefully for maintenance and running costs. For long-term ownership, the main risk is that repair and upkeep costs may be higher than you expect if the vehicle has not been maintained consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 127 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.69% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $44,720 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $45,714 CAD sits slightly below last year's $51,766 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q7 more attractive to used buyers today. For a future seller, that also means resale upside may be more limited if prices continue to soften. Even so, a well-kept example with the right equipment and strong presentation should still appeal to shoppers looking for a refined three-row luxury SUV. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a refined, practical three-row luxury SUV with strong usability and a good mix of comfort and technology, the 2023 Q7 is the primary year to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year with a lower asking price may be the better secondary path, especially if you can still find the V6 and the equipment you want.
