Is the 2018 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the Q7’s combination of luxury, space, and performance, and many appreciate the roomy interior and advanced technology. It also fits well if you want a three-row midsize luxury SUV for family use, though some owners note that it feels smaller than previous models. With 24.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in day-to-day use, with praise centred on its luxury, space, and performance. That kind of positive ownership experience often suggests a model people feel comfortable keeping for the long term. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about outright dissatisfaction and more about making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained properly over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 24.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 173 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,538 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $21,538 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,662 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q7 more attractive to buyers today but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The model’s strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, but resale value will still depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 24.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Audi Q7 makes sense if you want a well-liked three-row luxury SUV and you can find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you are more price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a similar vehicle offers a better asking price or a stronger deal on the exact equipment you want.
