Why it stands out
The 2022 Nissan Kicks stands out in the subcompact SUV segment for its exceptional value, solid safety features, and enjoyable driving experience. Owners particularly appreciate its attractive design and admirable fuel efficiency, making it a sensible choice for budget-conscious buyers. One of the highlights of the 2022 model is its comfort, paired with a spacious interior, which enhances the overall driving experience. Despite its strengths, some drivers mention the engine's lack of power, especially at highway speeds, indicating that the Kicks may not satisfy those looking for a sporty performance. “Love this car! It has excellent value with the standard safety and tech features. It handles the potholes of LA with ease and is super fun to drive. I was also considering the Hyundai Kona and Chevy Trax.

I love everything about this car its the perfect size for me, not too small like a sedan but not overwhelming like a truck can be. All of its safety features make me feel more confident and safe on the road. I feel like this is the perfect car for anyone looking for there first or a good reliable car.

I love a small car with get up and go and great gas mileage. This fit the ticket. I purchased the SR model and yes, I feel it was a good value for the price. The Bose sound system is amazing as well as the all leather interior. The only thing missing for me, is electric seats, however, it does have very comfortable heated seats, which I love. The ride is smooth and quiet for a smaller vehicle. Not sure what I would compare it to, as I fell in love with it without test driving anything else.

I received a 2022 Kicks SV after returning my 2020 base model. I can say that Im much happier with this one. While the harsh and lifeless 1.6L engine remains unchanged, the interior bits feel better; even if only slightly. The addition of Apple CarPlay is welcomed, as is the keyless entry. How is that not standard on the base model? The car has kept its spunky outward appearance and is quieter at speeds, but that engine still sounds terrible at highway speeds while it tries to keep up with the plethora of Camrys and Accords on the roadways. The cupholders are larger now so they can hold actual things which is also welcomed. Also, the speakers are far better this go. While they still arent going to impress the kids in your neighborhood, they can be cranked up a bit more for those jams you love. While it does struggle on the highway, itll get you around town with a bit of pep. All in all, its a decent package that has a ton of standard safety features at a good price. You dont see backup sensors AND a camera plus all the other features that come standard on many cars this cheap.
