Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Lincoln Aviator?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without rushing.

• Deal availability: 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 133 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.45% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,893 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $41,893 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,747 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. If you plan to sell later, the current softness means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Strong presentation and a clean history should matter more when the market is already pricing in depreciation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,787 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $41,893 CAD average.
• It leans even more toward calm, comfort-first luxury.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2022 if you want the better value and a wider pool of discounted listings. If your priority is a newer model year and you are comfortable paying more, the 2023 is the alternative to consider; if price matters most, the 2022 is the smarter starting point.
