This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

What is the 2022 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $42,213 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,986 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Aviator has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilises. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less downside left than someone who bought when prices were higher. The model’s strong owner satisfaction also helps support demand among used shoppers who value comfort and luxury.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $50,221 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $42,213 CAD average.
• It leans even more toward calm, comfort-focused luxury.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the better value and a strong ownership reputation. If you are price-sensitive, the 2022 is the smarter starting point; if you are willing to pay more for the newer year, the 2023 is the alternative to compare.
