That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Pilot more attractive to you as a buyer today. Should I buy a 2022 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $32,003 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $37,792 CAD average.
• It prioritises utility, comfort, and driving enjoyment over flashy styling.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $47,969 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $37,792 CAD average.
• It adds a more rugged redesign with more power and thoughtful convenience items.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and family-friendly practicality, the 2022 is the primary path to consider. If your budget is tighter, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want the newer redesign and can spend more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
