Used 2022 GMC Yukon for Sale nearMarkham, ON

How much does the 2022 GMC Yukon cost?

Prices have softened 9.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 125 listings available, which suggests you should have some room to compare trims and prices.

Is the 2022 GMC Yukon a good car?

Yes — you rate it 5/5, and our experts give it 7.5/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Technology, and Safety.

The Yukon’s appeal is rooted in its full-size SUV packaging, premium-feeling design, and broad trim spread. For 2022, it also gains a standard 12-inch driver information centre and enhanced connectivity, which strengthens its case as a modern family haulier.

The market also shows 29.6% of listings as good or great deals, which is a healthy sign if you’re shopping carefully.

Is the 2022 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Yukon’s redesign brought meaningful gains in passenger space, cargo space, ride quality, and technology, which are all good signs for day-to-day dependability. Its powertrains also use direct injection and cylinder-deactivation technology, and the diesel option adds a long-range efficiency choice for buyers who cover a lot of ground.

The available maintenance perk language is not stated here, so the ownership picture is best read as one of strong satisfaction and broad capability rather than a low-cost service story. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a large, feature-rich SUV can be expensive to keep in top shape if you choose a higher-spec example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 GMC Yukon?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SLE already has a premium look, but the SLT, AT4, and Denali add more upscale presentation and equipment. Cloth seats are standard on SLE, while the other trims get perforated leather, and the Denali stands out with unique interior designs and standard second-row captain’s chairs.
• Powertrain: You can choose from a 5.3-litre V8, a 6.2-litre V8, or a 3.0-litre turbodiesel four-cylinder. The diesel is the efficiency pick, while the 6.2-litre V8 brings the strongest output and is standard on Denali.
• Safety package: Every Yukon gets GMC Pro Safety, which includes automatic emergency braking with front pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, following distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. GMC Pro Safety Plus adds lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist, and it is available on SLE and standard on SLT and above.
• Infotainment: The Yukon uses a 10.2-inch touchscreen with Google Built-In, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, and wireless phone charging on all but the SLE. A 12-inch driver information centre is standard, and a 15-inch head-up display is available on higher trims.
• Fuel efficiency: The Yukon’s V8 engines return roughly 14 to 15 L/100 km combined, while diesel versions average just over 10 L/100 km combined. If fuel use matters to you, the diesel is the one to prioritise.

Which 2022 GMC Yukon trim should I buy?

The 2022 GMC Yukon is offered in 4 trim levels: SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• SLE: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Yukon’s premium look, standard seating for eight, and the core Pro Safety suite. It makes sense if you want the Yukon experience without chasing luxury extras.
• SLT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a more upscale feel, perforated leather, and access to available second-row captain’s chairs. It also gets GMC Pro Safety Plus standard, which adds blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist.
• AT4: Choose this if you want the Yukon’s more rugged personality. It brings unique front styling, a skid plate, red recovery hooks, and off-road-oriented hardware, while also offering the 6.2-litre V8 and a two-speed transfer case.
• Denali: This is the luxury pick, with the most distinctive chrome-heavy styling, standard second-row captain’s chairs, heated and cooled front seats, and exclusive interior designs. If you want the most premium Yukon, this is the one to target.

GMC Pro Safety Plus is available on SLE and standard on SLT and above.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 GMC Yukon?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it rewards patience and comparison shopping.

• Deal availability: 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 125 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.17% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $61,597 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $63,481 CAD sits slightly below last year's $69,887 CAD.

That softer pricing trend suggests the Yukon is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that means you may need to price competitively if you want to move quickly, especially if your vehicle is a higher-trim example with more options.

The good news is that the Yukon’s premium positioning, strong feature content, and broad appeal as a full-size SUV should help support demand over time. Well-equipped examples with desirable features are likely to remain easier to market than stripped-down versions.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 GMC Yukon safe?

The 2022 GMC Yukon earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA, with four-star ratings for front crash protection, five-star ratings for side crash protection, and three-star ratings for rollover resistance.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2022 Yukon comes with GMC Pro Safety, which includes automatic emergency braking with front pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, following distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. GMC Pro Safety Plus adds lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist, and it is standard on SLT and above.

Should I buy a 2022 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a standard 12-inch driver information centre and enhanced connectivity.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $54,624 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $63,481 CAD average.
• It brings meaningful gains in passenger space, cargo space, and ride quality.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better pick if you want the stronger shopping environment, updated tech, and the reassurance of a well-liked model year. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the smarter value play, especially if you can find one with the features you want.
