Is the 2022 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2022 GMC Acadia earns a 5/5 user rating, and it fits well if you want a used three-row crossover with a more manageable footprint than a full-size SUV. The Acadia’s appeal comes from its midsize packaging, broad trim range, and available technology such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also offers a choice of engines and drivetrain setups, so you can shop for the balance of performance and practicality that suits your needs. 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Acadia is described as fairly reliable, and that matters if you want a used SUV that should be easier to live with over time. Its broad availability across trims and configurations also gives you flexibility when shopping for a well-kept example. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is choosing a neglected or poorly maintained vehicle rather than the model itself.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 164 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.68% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,031 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $32,031 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,990 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Acadia more attractive to you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale value may depend more on condition, trim, and mileage than on broad market momentum. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 GMC Acadia is a sensible choice if you want a midsize three-row SUV with a broad trim range, useful technology, and strong owner satisfaction. If your priority is value, the 2022 makes sense because prices have eased and there are enough listings to compare. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to keep an eye on nearby model years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge.
