Used 2022 Ford Bronco for Sale nearWindsor, ON

How much does the 2022 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 11.02% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 330 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Ford Bronco earns a 4.5/5 from owners and an 8/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its performance, off-road capability, stylish design, comfort, tech features, and spaciousness. That lines up with the Bronco’s appeal as a rugged SUV that still feels usable for everyday driving, especially if you want something adventurous without giving up road manners. The main trade-offs are that some owners feel it is overpriced and that too many essential features are optional.

With 28.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a vehicle people feel good about living with over time, especially because they describe it as dependable in the ways that matter to them: performance, comfort, tech, and capability. The expert road test also reinforces that it behaves well on pavement and remains composed enough for regular use, which supports confidence in day-to-day ownership.

If you buy used, the main long-term risk is less about basic durability and more about paying too much for a truck that leaves key features on the options list.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Bronco?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Bronco’s lineup ranges from more basic versions to highly specialised off-road models, and the feature gaps are meaningful. Base trims miss several advanced safety features that become available through option packages, so you should check carefully whether the truck you’re considering has the equipment you want.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder and an optional turbocharged 2.7-litre V6. The four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the V6 produces 330 hp and 415 lb-ft. A seven-speed manual is available only with the two-door four-cylinder, while the 10-speed automatic is required with the V6 and all four-door models.
• Safety package: The Bronco’s standard safety equipment includes hill-start assist, hill descent control, and trailer sway control. Frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, lane-keep assist, rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams are available on all but the base trim as part of the optional Mid package. Front parking sensors and a surround-view camera system are offered with the High package, while the Lux package adds adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: The Sync 4 system has quick responses and sharp graphics. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on all models, and Bluetooth is included as well. The available wireless charging pad is worth checking for if you want a more convenient daily setup.
• Fuel efficiency: The two-door with the base four-cylinder engine is estimated at 12.1 L/100 km in the city, 11.2 on the highway, and 11.7 combined with the automatic transmission. The V6 ranges between 12.4 and 15.3 L/100 km combined, with the latter figure for the Raptor.

Which 2022 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2022 Ford Bronco is offered in 6 trim levels: Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and the base two-door Bronco.

Here's the short version:

• Bronco: This is the entry point if you want the Bronco experience at the lowest starting price. It gives you the core hardware and character, but you should pay close attention to option packages because several desirable safety and convenience features are not standard.
• Big Bend: This is the first step up and a sensible choice if you want a better-equipped Bronco without jumping too far in price. It should suit you if you want a more balanced mix of value and everyday usability.
• Black Diamond: This trim is aimed more directly at off-road use, so it makes sense if you want a Bronco that leans harder into trail duty without moving into the pricier specialist models.
• Outer Banks: This is the better pick if you care more about comfort and style than maximum trail focus. It sits in the middle of the range and should appeal if you want a more polished Bronco.
• Badlands: This is the trim to target if you want serious off-road capability and are willing to pay for it. It is the best-value choice for buyers who plan to use the Bronco’s hardware in earnest.
• Wildtrak: This is the more specialised high-end choice for buyers who want a stronger off-road focus and are comfortable paying more for it.

The Mid, High, and Lux safety packages are important to check because they add many of the Bronco’s advanced driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Bronco?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 330 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.02% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,918 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $40,929 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,997 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may pressure future resale if you overpay today. If you buy near the current average or below, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. Strong demand still helps support values, but the Bronco’s resale will depend heavily on trim, equipment, and how well the truck is priced relative to the market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2022 Ford Bronco earns a Good rating from IIHS in frontal, side, and roof strength tests, and an Acceptable rating for head restraints and seats. It also earns four-star ratings for frontal crash protection and three-star ratings for rollover protection from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include hill-start assist, hill descent control, trailer sway control, dual-stage front and side airbags for the front row, side-curtain airbags for both rows, and a rollover sensor.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you should verify which package a used Bronco has before you buy.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It offers strong off-road ability with better pavement manners than many rivals.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,310 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $40,929 CAD average.
• It adds a broader nine-model lineup.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger value proposition and are comfortable shopping carefully for the right trim and package combination. Consider the 2023 if you want the newer model-year lineup and are willing to pay more for it. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2022 remains the smarter path as long as you verify the equipment you want is actually on the truck.
