What is the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport's resale value?

The current average of $25,681 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,782 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and trim appeal than on broad market momentum alone. If demand stays steady, a well-kept example should remain easier to move than a less distinctive compact SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.92/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 26.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.92/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $22,665 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $25,681 CAD average.
• It arrived with lively, capable appeal for everyday driving and weekend adventures.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the better value-focused alternative, especially if you find one in good condition.
