That kind of price movement suggests the Challenger is holding value reasonably well for a used performance coupe. If demand stays steady, sellers may continue to benefit from the model’s strong enthusiast appeal and broad recognition. The current pricing also suggests there is still healthy interest in well-kept examples, especially those that stand out on condition or equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 23.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.13% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $57,289 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $67,515 CAD average.
• It adds farewell-year special editions and a more final-year send-off.

The bottom line: Buy the 2022 if you want a well-liked Challenger with strong owner satisfaction and a broad used-market presence. If your priority is lower pricing, the 2023 is worth a look because it undercuts the 2022 average while adding special-edition appeal.
