How much does the 2022 Dodge Challenger cost?

Prices have softened 3.14% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2022 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Dodge Challenger earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise the car’s fun-to-drive character, plenty of power, classic styling, and comfortable interior. The quiet cabin and plush seating also stand out, while the blend of modern technology with old-school muscle-car appeal makes it especially attractive if you want personality in a five-passenger coupe.

If you want a distinctive coupe with broad appeal and everyday usability, this model year fits that brief well. With 26.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with praise for its comfortable cabin and the confidence that comes from a familiar formula. That said, the long production run means condition can vary widely, so a careful inspection matters more than usual.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is finding an example that was neglected or driven hard rather than one that was maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Dodge Challenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 26.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 157 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.14% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $58,944 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $63,861 CAD sits slightly below last year's $65,932 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more selectively today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been cared for.

Because this model year still has strong owner satisfaction, demand should remain healthy for clean examples. Well-kept cars are more likely to hold their appeal than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 26.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $57,719 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $63,861 CAD average.
• It adds final-year special editions and a more farewell-focused lineup.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2022 if you want a well-liked Challenger with a broad used-market selection and a softer price trend. If your priority is spending less, the 2023 is worth a look because it undercuts the current average while adding final-year appeal.
