Used 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD for Sale nearGloucester, ON

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD cost?

Prices have softened 10.72% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 128 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this heavy-duty truck. Owners consistently praise its powerful performance, smooth ride, and useful features such as the backup camera and electronic mirrors, while also noting that it feels like a great truck overall. In practical terms, that lines up well with the Silverado 2500HD’s role as a serious work truck that still offers a surprisingly well-equipped cabin and broad capability for buyers who need towing strength and everyday usability. With 30.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a truck that feels dependable and trouble-free in day-to-day use, with buyers highlighting confidence in its performance and overall ownership experience. For used buyers, that suggests the bigger risk is less about the truck’s basic durability and more about finding one that has been maintained properly given its hard-working life.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rush into the first truck you see.

• Deal availability: 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 128 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $55,241 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD's resale value?

The current average of $55,292 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,929 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can be good news if you are buying now but less favourable if you plan to sell soon. If you own one for a few years, the current softness may limit short-term appreciation, but strong demand for heavy-duty trucks can still support a healthy resale position when the truck is well kept and properly equipped. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 Silverado 2500HD is the better fit if you want a heavy-duty truck with strong owner approval, a wide spread of listings, and a market that has become more favourable for buyers. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to keep an eye on nearby model years as well, but the 2022 is a solid primary target when you want capability and a well-liked ownership experience.
