Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $43,463 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $35,992 CAD average.
• It adds a more thoroughly modern cabin and stronger overall capability.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want a better value and a strong mix of capability and owner satisfaction. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer truck’s more modern design and equipment, the 2023 is the better upgrade; price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2022.
