How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 13.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 165 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its smooth performance, towing capacity, and spacious interior, and it also fits well if you want a capable daily driver with real hauling ability. The truck’s broader appeal comes from its more modern cabin and its usefulness for families or shoppers who want a midsize pickup with more capability than a basic commuter. With 26.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for smooth performance and the ability to count on it for towing and everyday use. That said, some owners mention rear-seat space and a few features that could be improved, so you should still inspect condition and maintenance history closely on any used example. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying a truck that has been worked hard without proper care.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 26.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 165 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.44% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,453 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $35,875 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,447 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more affordably today but may limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, the softer market can reduce your depreciation risk compared with paying closer to the high end of the range. Strong demand for well-kept trucks should still support values better than many other used vehicles.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 26.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $43,311 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $35,875 CAD average.
• It adds a more thoroughly modern design with stronger off-road focus and updated tech.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the better value and a wider pool of used listings to compare. Consider the 2023 if you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay more for its updated packaging and equipment. If price matters most, the 2022 is the smarter starting point.
