Used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer for Sale nearEdmonton, AB

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer cost?

Prices have softened 12.81% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 108 listings available, which suggests you should have some room to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the stylish design, comfortable ride, sporty handling, and powerful engine options. The Blazer also stands out for its roomy interior and practical utility, which fits its role as a five-seat midsize SUV with up to 1,818 litres of cargo space.

That said, the overall appeal is strongest if you want a road-focused SUV with a sporty personality rather than maximum versatility. With 26.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still a decent amount of market choice.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise for the Blazer’s strong engine options and comfortable ride. Reviewers also describe it as a vehicle you can count on for everyday use, especially if you value its sporty character and practical cabin.

The expert evaluation also supports that impression by describing the Blazer as agreeable in typical driving and generally well sorted in the areas most owners use most often. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright reliability and more about whether the vehicle’s equipment level and condition match the price you pay.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LT is the entry point and comes with the turbocharged four-cylinder, while higher grades add the V6 and more upscale touches. The Premier gets revised bumper and bodyside trim plus redesigned standard wheels, and the RS adds a more distinctive look with red interior accents and a sportier presentation.
• Powertrain: The LT uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while higher grades use a 3.6-litre V6 with 308 hp and 270 lb-ft. The V6 is the stronger choice if you want more passing power or towing ability.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes forward-collision alert, pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Available upgrades include adaptive cruise control with enhanced automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and the vibrating Safety Alert Seat.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses an 8-inch touchscreen with simple physical controls beneath it. The layout is easy to use, but there is no mention of wireless smartphone integration or over-the-air capability in the available data.
• Fuel efficiency: Official Natural Resources Canada fuel consumption is listed at 11.0 litres per 100 kilometres in combined driving for the RS AWD test vehicle, and testing returned 11.5 L/100 km in mixed use.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LT, True North, Premier, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the value-focused starting point if you want the Blazer’s styling and standard turbo-four without paying for the V6. It gives you the core Blazer experience, but the higher trims add more power and a more upscale feel.
• True North: This trim sits above the LT and is a sensible step up if you want more equipment without jumping straight to the top end. It should suit you if you want a better-balanced mix of features and price.
• Premier: This is the better choice if you want a more polished look and feel, including the revised exterior trim and redesigned standard wheels. It suits you if comfort and appearance matter more than outright value.
• RS: This is the most distinctive trim, with the more sophisticated dual-clutch AWD system, the V6, and the sportiest presentation. It is the best fit if you want the strongest performance and the most expressive styling.

The standard Chevy Safety Assist suite is included on every trim, so you do not need to move up the lineup to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 108 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.81% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $28,225 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $28,991 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,251 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Blazer may be a better buy today than it was a year ago, but it also means future sellers may face more competition when they go to market. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation pressure later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer safe?

The Blazer does not earn a Top Safety Pick rating from the IIHS because its headlights do not provide high-ranking illumination.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard on every 2022 Blazer, and it includes forward-collision alert, pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Rear-seat reminder and Teen Driver are also standard, while available upgrades include adaptive cruise control with enhanced automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and the Safety Alert Seat.

The main safety caveat is that some shoppers may want more advanced driver-assistance features than the standard package provides. If those features matter to you, you should look closely at the available upgrades on the specific used example you are considering.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It balances sporty styling, practical space, and approachable tech.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $25,716 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $28,991 CAD average.
• It prioritises style and handling over practicality.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $30,961 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $28,991 CAD average.
• It adds a larger touchscreen and wireless charging.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of price, availability, and owner satisfaction, the 2022 is the sensible default. If your budget is tighter, the 2021 can save you money, while the 2023 makes sense if you want the newer infotainment upgrades and are willing to pay more.
