How much does the 2021 RAM 3500 cost?

Is the 2021 RAM 3500 a good car?

Yes — the 2021 RAM 3500 earns a 4.71/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its towing capability, handling with heavy loads, and spacious cab, and they also like the ride quality compared with competitors. In practical terms, that makes it a strong fit if you want a heavy-duty truck that can handle demanding work while still feeling more comfortable and upscale than a basic work truck. With 30.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 RAM 3500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a truck that feels dependable in the ways that matter most for heavy-duty use, especially when it comes to towing and handling heavy loads. The repeated praise for its solid performance and overall satisfaction suggests you can count on it for demanding work and long-term ownership. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the truck’s core capability and more about finding one that has been maintained properly given the strain heavy-duty trucks often see.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 RAM 3500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 206 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.97% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $53,501 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $57,603 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,918 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if prices continue to soften. For a seller, the current trend points to a truck that still has solid demand, but not the kind of rapid appreciation that would make timing especially favourable. Strongly equipped examples and well-kept trucks should still hold attention better than average, especially in a segment where capability matters so much.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.97% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of owner satisfaction, current pricing, and available inventory, the 2021 is the year to focus on. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you can also look at nearby years, but the 2021 gives you a good mix of market softness and proven owner approval.
