Is the 2021 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Lincoln Aviator earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, luxurious feel, and powerful performance, and many also like the spacious, well-designed interior. That lines up well with its role as a midsize, three-row luxury SUV that gives you family-friendly space without forcing you into something larger. With 26.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable in day-to-day use, with comfort and refinement standing out over time. The repeated praise for its luxurious feel and strong performance suggests that many owners feel confident living with it long term, even if some mention annoyances like road noise and the auto stop-start feature. For used buyers, that means the bigger ownership risk is less about broad dissatisfaction and more about making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been well cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lincoln Aviator?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly when you find a strong one.

• Deal availability: 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 119 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.58% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $34,870 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $36,035 CAD sits slightly below last year's $43,199 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can be helpful if you're buying now but less favourable if you're planning to sell soon. If you own one for a few years, the current pricing trend implies you may need to be realistic about depreciation, especially if the vehicle is not exceptionally well equipped or well maintained. On the other hand, the Aviator's strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 Aviator is the better fit if you want a well-equipped, comfortable luxury SUV and you can take advantage of the softer pricing in today's market. If you're especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2021 stands out as the stronger all-around choice when you want a refined cabin, strong owner approval, and a more favourable buying environment.
