Is the 2021 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

Yes — 4.8/5 is a strong user rating, and it lines up with the Aviator’s appeal as a midsize, three-row luxury SUV that focuses on quiet-luxury comfort and a refined cabin. Owners consistently praise the comfort, luxurious feel, and powerful performance, while also appreciating the spacious, well-designed interior. That makes it a strong fit if you want family-friendly space without moving up to a larger luxury SUV. With 29.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with comfort and performance standing out as reasons people keep coming back to it. The repeated praise for its luxurious feel and strong feature set suggests many owners feel confident living with it over time. For used buyers, that kind of satisfaction can reduce the risk of regret, especially if you choose a well-maintained example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lincoln Aviator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 118 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.49% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $34,870 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $36,207 CAD sits slightly below last year's $43,358 CAD.

That kind of decline can be good news if you are buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to price more competitively to stand out. The current market suggests the Aviator has softened enough to create a more approachable entry point than it had a year ago. If demand stays steady, a well-kept example should still have a reasonable path to resale, especially if it is equipped and presented well.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the better pick if you want a well-equipped luxury SUV with strong owner approval and a softer used-market price than it had a year ago. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2021 remains the more compelling choice when comfort, features, and buyer satisfaction matter most.
