Should I buy a 2021 Kia Sorento or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $28,088 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $24,231 CAD average.
• It adds hybrid options for better fuel efficiency.

The bottom line: Choose the 2021 if you want the better value and a strong owner-satisfaction story. If you’re willing to spend more for newer-tech efficiency, the 2022 is the better secondary path.
