Used 2021 Jeep Gladiator for Sale nearVancouver, BC

How much does the 2021 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 10.62% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 191 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2021 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Jeep Gladiator earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise its ruggedness, off-road capability, and unique design, and they also like the powerful diesel edition and comfortable interior. That lines up with the Gladiator’s use case as a truck for you if you want pickup utility with open-air Jeep character rather than a purely practical midsize hauler. The market also shows 26.2% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a truck that feels rugged, dependable, and well suited to buyers who want something they can count on for adventure-focused use. The diesel powertrain also adds a sense of strong, low-end durability, while the overall ownership experience is described as satisfying enough that many owners are willing to overlook its compromises.

From a used-buyer perspective, the main long-term risk is that the Gladiator’s appeal comes with higher running costs and a more specialised ownership profile than a typical midsize pickup.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Jeep Gladiator?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Gladiator’s base setup is sparse, with a reversing camera and not much else, while higher trims add more comfort and capability. The Willys grade brings a blacked-out grille, limited-slip rear differential, rock rails, and 32-inch all-terrain tires, while the High Altitude adds body-colour detailing, black 20-inch wheels, and premium Nappa leather. You should pay close attention to which trim you’re looking at because the feature gap between entry-level and better-equipped versions is significant.
• Powertrain: You can shop the standard 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 or the available 3.0-litre EcoDiesel turbo-diesel V6. The diesel brings 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque, plus stronger low-end grunt and better fuel efficiency than the gas engine. It is available on any Gladiator except the Mojave.
• Safety package: The Gladiator can be upgraded with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. Standard equipment is limited, so you should confirm exactly which driver-assistance features are fitted on the truck you’re considering.
• Infotainment: The standard Uconnect 4 system uses a 7-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Higher-spec versions can get Uconnect 4C with an 8.4-inch touchscreen and navigation, and the Alpine premium sound system is available with the 7-inch screen and included with the 8.4-inch setup.
• Fuel efficiency: The diesel averaged 10.4 litres per 100 kilometres in testing, compared with a Natural Resources Canada estimate of 9.8 L/100 km in combined driving. The standard V6 returned 11.6 L/100 km in mostly highway driving.

Which 2021 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2021 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 5 trim levels: Sport S, Sport, Overland, Willys, and High Altitude.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it is very bare-bones, so it makes sense only if you want the lowest starting price and plan to add equipment carefully.
• Sport S: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it starts with the core Gladiator experience and a 7-inch display, while still leaving room to add the features you actually want.
• Overland: Choose this if you want a more upscale cabin, since the test truck showed how nicely the Gladiator can be equipped with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, and stronger infotainment and audio.
• Willys: This is the trim to target if you want a more rugged look and extra trail-oriented hardware, including the limited-slip rear differential, rock rails, and all-terrain tires.
• High Altitude: Pick this if you want the most luxurious Gladiator experience, with body-colour detailing, black 20-inch wheels, premium Nappa leather, and the top-shelf Uconnect 4C system with navigation.

Safety equipment is limited on lower trims, so make sure the truck you choose has the driver-assistance features you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Jeep Gladiator?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 191 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.62% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,807 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $38,848 CAD sits slightly below last year's $43,464 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Gladiator has become a little more accessible for used buyers, which can help support demand if you decide to sell later. The year-round range also shows that values have stayed relatively elevated, so well-kept examples should still attract attention from shoppers who want this truck’s unique mix of utility and personality.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The 2021 Jeep Gladiator earns a four-star frontal-impact rating from NHTSA and three-star rollover resistance ratings regardless of engine selection.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The Gladiator’s safety equipment is basic in standard form, with a reversing camera and little else. You can add adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams, and the test truck was equipped with all of those features. Blind-spot monitoring is especially useful because the side mirrors are narrow.

Should I buy a 2021 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 model adds a new turbo-diesel engine option and available full-time four-wheel drive, which broadens its appeal for buyers who want more capability and flexibility.

The bottom line: If you want the Gladiator’s most distinctive mix of open-air Jeep character and pickup usefulness, the 2021 model is a strong choice, especially because pricing has eased and there are still some good deals in the market. If you are more price-sensitive, keep shopping carefully for a lower-priced listing or compare nearby model years to see whether a better-equipped example fits your budget more comfortably.
