Yes — the 2021 Jeep Cherokee earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers most often praise its great value, smooth ride, and numerous safety features, while also appreciating the advanced technology and off-road capability, especially in Trailhawk form. Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 391 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,112 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $23,175 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,663 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Cherokee has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy now, the lower entry point could help reduce depreciation pressure compared with a period of stronger pricing. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 Cherokee makes the most sense if you want a value-focused used SUV with strong owner approval, and you are comfortable shopping carefully for the right example. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may also be worth comparing, but the 2021 stands out as a balanced choice when you want a mix of affordability, features, and buyer appeal.
