How much does the 2021 Genesis G70 cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $26,440 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $26,440 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $31,324 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $30,421 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −13.09% |
Prices have softened 13.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 53 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2021 Genesis G70 a good car?
Yes — the 2021 Genesis G70 earns a user rating of 5/5, which points to strong owner satisfaction.
With 18.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively and still find value.
Is the 2021 Genesis G70 reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback suggests lower day-to-day ownership risk if the car has been maintained properly.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Genesis G70?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.
- Deal availability: 18.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 53 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 13.09% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $26,440 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2021 Genesis G70's resale value?
The current average of $26,440 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,421 CAD.
That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the current discount gives you less cushion than a model holding closer to its prior-year average. Strong condition and clean history will matter more when it comes time to resell.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2021 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2021 if:
- 18.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 13.09% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
Consider the 2022 if:
- At $31,202 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $26,440 CAD average.
- It adds refreshed styling, improved infotainment, and Highway Driving Assist.
The bottom line: Choose the 2021 if you want the lower entry price and are focused on value. Consider the 2022 if you want the newer styling and added tech, and are willing to pay more for those upgrades.
