Used 2021 Ford Mustang for Sale nearOttawa, ON

How much does the 2021 Ford Mustang cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 150 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice for a used performance car.

Is the 2021 Ford Mustang a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Ford Mustang earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its performance, looks, and features, and many enjoy the excitement of driving it, especially in higher-performance versions. The Mustang’s coupe and convertible body styles, along with its broad trim and powertrain range, make it appealing if you want a used sports car with plenty of personality and configuration choice. With 32.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market flexibility if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Ford Mustang reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a car that many owners find dependable and enjoyable over time, with praise centred on performance and overall ownership experience. That said, used buyers should still inspect service history closely and look for any signs of unresolved repairs, since long-term ownership risk depends heavily on how each example was maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Ford Mustang?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 150 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $39,109 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Ford Mustang's resale value?

The current average of $39,350 CAD sits slightly above last year's $39,140 CAD.

That small increase suggests the Mustang has held its value fairly well, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. Stable pricing also indicates that buyers continue to see appeal in this model year, especially when the car is well equipped and properly maintained. Because the market has not moved sharply in either direction, resale should remain relatively predictable for owners who keep mileage and condition in check.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Ford Mustang or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $38,445 CAD, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $39,350 CAD average.
• It offers strong value with multiple powertrain choices and a fun driving character.

The bottom line: Choose the 2021 if you want the newer model-year pricing benchmark and a healthy mix of listings to compare. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2020 is the better value-oriented path and may give you more room to prioritise condition and equipment over model-year freshness.
