There are 58 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — it earns a 4.9/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10. Owners consistently praise the powerful performance, stunning looks, and strong value for money, especially versus higher-priced supercars. The Corvette also fits buyers who want a dramatic open-air sports car with added convenience and a more visceral driving experience. With 39.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful value in the market.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The expert review also describes the Corvette as a brilliantly engineered machine, which supports confidence in its overall durability and day-to-day usability. Chevrolet’s first scheduled maintenance visit is covered, which helps reduce early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this is a high-performance sports car, so upkeep and wear items can be more demanding than on a mainstream vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Chevrolet Corvette?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The convertible’s power-operated roof adds convenience and a more open-air feel, but you give up some coupe-specific traits, including the rear camera mirror’s usefulness with the top down and the rear engine view through glass. The 2LT and 3LT trims add visibility features that are not on the 1LT, so base-trim shoppers should check whether those omissions matter to them.
• Powertrain: You get a 6.2-litre V8 with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Z51 Performance Package adds more power, performance exhaust, Magnetic Ride Control adaptive dampers, performance brakes, a performance rear-axle ratio, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, heavy-duty cooling, and high-performance run-flat tyres.
• Safety package: Teen Driver is standard, and Chevrolet Connected Services can add automatic collision notification and emergency calling with a subscription. The rearview camera mirror, high-definition reversing camera, and rear parking sensors are standard, while a front-facing camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert are limited to the 2LT and 3LT trims.
• Infotainment: Every Corvette gets a configurable 12-inch digital instrument display and an 8-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and Chevrolet Connected Services with an available 4G LTE WiFi hotspot and SiriusXM All Access satellite radio are also included.
• Fuel efficiency: The source does not provide a fuel-consumption figure.

Which 2021 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Corvette experience at the lowest price. It suits you if you want the performance and style first, and can live without the extra visibility and convenience features found higher up.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the head-up display and the visibility upgrades that matter in a car like this, including the front-facing camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. If you want the sweet spot between price and everyday usability, this is the one to target.
• 3LT: This is the most premium trim and is the right pick if you want the most upscale cabin experience and are willing to pay for it.

The safety-package trim note is simple: the front-facing camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert are restricted to the 2LT and 3LT trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chevrolet Corvette?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting deep discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 58 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.25% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $83,980 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $83,980 CAD sits slightly below last year's $89,575 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper what a future seller can ask. If you buy at the right price, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to the prior-year average. Strong enthusiast demand and the Corvette’s standout performance credentials should continue to support interest over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Teen Driver is standard, and Chevrolet Connected Services can provide automatic collision notification and emergency calling with a subscription. The car also includes a rearview camera mirror, high-definition reversing camera, and rear parking sensors. If you want more visibility support, the front-facing camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert are limited to the 2LT and 3LT trims.

The bigger caveat is that modern advanced driver-assistance systems are largely absent, including adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, and Super Cruise.

Should I buy a 2021 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 stands out for its open-air convenience and visceral driving experience.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $92,024 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $83,980 CAD average.
• It adds minor updates, including new exterior colours and an IMSA GTLM Championship Edition.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the better value if you want the Corvette experience at a lower average price and with solid deal availability. If you want the newer model year and do not mind paying more, the 2022 is the cleaner alternative.
