Should I buy a 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $27,015 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $25,067 CAD average.
• It adds a newer infotainment system and driver-assist features.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2020 if you want the lower average price and a market with decent deal availability. If you are willing to pay more for newer tech and a modest update, the 2021 is the better secondary path for buyers who value those extras.
