What is the 2020 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $15,513 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,076 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible for used buyers, which can also mean future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If the market stays soft, resale values may remain under pressure in the near term. On the other hand, the Kicks' value-focused reputation can help support steady demand from budget-conscious shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $17,336 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $15,513 CAD average.
• It adds a refreshed look and more features.

The bottom line: Choose the 2020 if you want the lower entry price and a strong value proposition. If you can stretch your budget and want a fresher-feeling version with more features, the 2021 is the better upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2020 remains the smarter buy.
