Should I buy a 2020 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $24,163 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $22,421 CAD average.
• It adds a turbocharged powertrain with stronger acceleration.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better starting point if you want a well-liked CX-30 at a more approachable price. If you’re willing to spend more for extra power, the 2021 is the better upgrade path; if price matters most, the 2020 gives you the stronger value proposition.
