How much does the 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport cost?

Prices have softened 18.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 135 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, and it fits a luxury SUV that blends serious off-road ability with a high-end, performance-focused character. It is aimed at you if you want a vehicle that feels lavish on the road but still has genuine four-wheel-drive credibility in harsh conditions. The trade-off is that it is positioned as an expensive vehicle even by luxury standards, so it suits you best if capability and prestige matter enough to accept the cost. 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2020 Range Rover Sport is described as having poor reliability, poor fuel economy, and expensive maintenance, so it is not the kind of used SUV you should buy casually. Its appeal comes from its mix of strong performance, genuine off-road hardware, and premium image, but those strengths do not erase the ownership risks. For used buyers, the main long-term concern is that repair and upkeep costs can become a major burden once warranty coverage is gone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 135 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.49% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,713 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $40,755 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,000 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favour, which can make the SUV easier to purchase now but less favourable if you are thinking about future resale. If you buy at today’s average, your room for appreciation is limited unless market conditions improve. Because this model is expensive to own and maintain, resale value will likely depend heavily on condition, service history, and how well the vehicle has been cared for.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of luxury, off-road credibility, and a more favourable used-market price, the 2020 is the better path to consider. If you are especially price-sensitive, you should still compare nearby years, but the 2020 stands out as the one to target when you want a distinctive Range Rover Sport with meaningful market softness behind it.
