Generally — the 4.2/5 user rating points to solid owner satisfaction for this model year. Drivers most often praise its powerful performance, luxurious features, comfort, and smooth ride, which fits well if you want a premium SUV that feels special on the road. The overview also frames it as a luxury SUV with genuine off-road ability, so it suits you best if you value capability and refinement in the same package. Is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers enjoy living with, especially for its performance and comfort, but it also includes concerns about maintenance and condition in used examples. That mix suggests you should expect a premium ownership experience, not a low-stress one. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that upkeep and condition can matter a lot more here than they do on simpler SUVs.

What is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $39,579 CAD sits slightly below last year's $46,589 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face more price pressure if the trend continues. If you buy now, you may be entering at a lower point than previous owners did, which can help limit depreciation risk from here. Still, the model's premium positioning means resale will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better fit if you want a luxury SUV with strong performance, comfort, and real off-road ability, and you are willing to shop carefully for condition and maintenance history. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby year with a lower asking price may be worth considering, but the 2019 remains the more compelling choice when you want a balanced mix of value, capability, and owner satisfaction.
