I have the LXS model, this is loaded with very feature from Collison avoidance to lane assistance. Smart mode gets 41 mpg while sport mode provides nice performance at the cost of 21 mpg. Its like I have 2 cars in 1 and if the emblem said Honda or Toyota I would have easily spent 10k more

The car is comfortable and moves well. The lack of fast acceleration is noticeable, but the handling is superb.

Oh wow, I love this car! the forte GT model has everything you would want in a car at a fantastic price and the warranty is out of this world Kia has one of the best there is to offer. The car handles extremely well and has more speed than you really need at times and if your just a average driver that is ok your the pick up speed in any mode is great but the sport is like a rocket. I also love the sound system in this car excellent crisp sound. and the comfort of the seats are very relaxing and heated as well as cooled. you have great visibility with plenty of windows to avoid the blind spots. the out side is stunning with the color contras mine is black and red very sexy. Over all i would recommend this car as of now but I only had it for a week and so far Im in love I find my self running to the store way out of my way for no reason at all just to sit in it and listen to the music and drive.

Unbelievable value. My model is the 2020 Forte GT DCT w/GT2 package. Very peppy engine that has a lot of energy. Endless safety features. Overall style is very impressive and gets compliments from everyone. Its very fun to drive. The sport exhaust sounds amazing and the turbo whistles everytime you pull away.

How much does the 2020 Kia Forte cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $14,648 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $14,411 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $17,591 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $17,532 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −16.45% |
Prices have softened 16.45% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 289 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.
Is the 2020 Kia Forte a good car?
Yes — the 2020 Kia Forte earns a 4.56/5 user rating, which points to strong overall owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its impressive design, great value, and fun driving experience. Many also highlight the powerful engine, smooth handling, and excellent fuel economy. With 37.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a solid chance of finding a competitively priced example.
Is the 2020 Kia Forte reliable?
Owners rate it 4.56/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The review summary also points to a car that many owners find dependable enough to live with every day, especially when they value fuel economy, smooth handling, and a satisfying driving experience. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is finding a car that has been maintained well enough to preserve that positive ownership experience.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Kia Forte?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.
- Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 289 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 16.45% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $14,411 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2020 Kia Forte's resale value?
The current average of $14,648 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,532 CAD.
That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it can also mean future sellers may need to price more competitively to stand out. If you buy at the right number now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to the higher prices seen a year ago. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.56/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2020 Kia Forte or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2020 if:
- 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 16.45% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.56/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want a used Forte with strong owner approval and a softer market price, the 2020 is a sensible place to start. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced alternative gives you a better overall deal.
