Is the 2020 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Hyundai Palisade earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, safety features, and great value for money, and many also like the luxurious feel and extensive features for the price. For you, that makes it especially appealing if you want a three-row SUV that prioritises family space, comfort, and a well-equipped cabin. With 29.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Hyundai Palisade?

The market looks moderately favourable for selective buyers, especially if you are comparing multiple listings and waiting for the right price.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 202 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.37% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,466 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $25,479 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,467 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking an immediate depreciation hit. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $27,246 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $25,479 CAD average.
• It adds more standard equipment and a new luxury-focused trim.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2020 if you want the lower entry price and are comfortable shopping carefully for a well-priced example. If you want more standard equipment and a broader trim range, the 2021 is the better pick, but price-sensitive buyers will likely find stronger value in the 2020.
