Used 2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD for Sale nearNorth Vancouver, BC

How much does the 2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD cost?

Prices have softened 1.35% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 72 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you decide.

Is the 2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD a good car?

Yes — owners give it 5/5, which points to strong overall satisfaction. You’ll likely appreciate the impressive performance when pulling heavy loads, the comfortable and well-built feel, and the strong track record many owners see compared with Ford and Ram. It also suits you well if you want a heavy-duty truck that can be configured for hard work or a more upscale daily-driving role. With 25% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that feels dependable and trouble-free in the ways that matter most to heavy-duty buyers, especially when you need confidence for towing and hauling. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and how the truck was used, since long-term ownership risk is always higher when a vehicle has been worked hard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 25% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 72 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.35% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $57,215 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD's resale value?

The current average of $61,375 CAD sits slightly below last year's $62,213 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now if you plan to keep the truck for a while. For a future seller, the current trend means you may not see rapid appreciation, but the truck’s heavy-duty capability and broad appeal should still support steady demand. Because the model has strong owner satisfaction, it should remain attractive to used buyers when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 25% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better primary pick if you want the newer redesign, strong owner satisfaction, and a market that still offers some deal potential. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2020 gives you a compelling mix of capability, refinement, and current pricing.
