Used 2020 Ford Mustang for Sale nearQuebec, QC

How much does the 2020 Ford Mustang cost?

Prices are up 7.30% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 165 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of choice if you’re comparing trims and condition.

Is the 2020 Ford Mustang a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Ford Mustang earns a 4.7/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its power, fun driving experience, and stylish looks, and they also like the comfortable seats and the variety offered by different engine choices. The main trade-offs are limited cargo space and the fact that advanced safety features are not standard.

For you, that means this is a strong fit if you want an emotional, performance-first car with real everyday appeal rather than maximum practicality. The market also shows 32.7% good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile listings to chase.

Is the 2020 Ford Mustang reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable in the ways that matter to enthusiasts: strong power, a fun driving experience, and a package many buyers feel good about living with over time. The expert review reinforces that sense of durability by describing the Mustang as a car that can deliver both daily-driving compliance and track-ready stiffness, depending on how you set it up.

Ford also includes a reversing camera, MyKey, and optional 911 Assist and blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning, which can help reduce day-to-day ownership stress. For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is less about basic dependability and more about finding one that hasn’t been neglected or driven hard without proper care.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Ford Mustang?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Bullitt stands out for its clean, classic look, Dark Highland Green paint, unique green stitching, white cue-ball shifter knob, and serialized plaque, but it is also expensive and includes some cheap-feeling interior plastics. The base GT Performance Package adds structural bracing, improved engine cooling, a Torsen limited-slip rear differential, modified steering and suspension tuning, Brembo brakes, and more leeway before the stability systems intervene.
• Powertrain: The lineup spans a 310-horsepower turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder, a 460-horsepower 5.0-litre V8, a 526-horsepower 5.2-litre V8 in the Shelby GT350 and GT350R, and a 760-horsepower supercharged 5.2-litre V8 in the Shelby GT500. The Bullitt uses a 5.0-litre V8 with 480 horsepower and a six-speed manual only.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes antilock braking, traction control, stability control, a reversing camera, MyKey, and opt-in 911 Assist. Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning is available with the optional Electronics Package, so you should check whether a used example has that package.
• Infotainment: The Mustang uses a recessed 8-inch touchscreen with Sync 3, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and an available 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. It also has a 12-inch digital instrumentation cluster, but the touchscreen response is starting to feel dated.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder EcoBoost Mustang delivers 11.2 L/100 km in the city, 7.3 on the highway, and 9.4 combined. The Bullitt sits at 16.4/10.2/13.6 L/100 km.

Which 2020 Ford Mustang trim should I buy?

The 2020 Ford Mustang is offered in 1 trim level: Bullitt.

Here's the short version:

The Bullitt is the clear choice if you want the most distinctive Mustang in this year’s lineup, with its heritage-inspired styling, unique cabin details, and stronger V8 performance. It suits you best if you value character, sound, and exclusivity more than everyday practicality or bargain pricing.

The safety package is not comprehensive, so check carefully for the optional Electronics Package if you want blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Ford Mustang?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 165 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 7.30% year-over-year.

If you find a listing below $32,780 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Ford Mustang's resale value?

The current average of $39,269 CAD sits slightly above last year's $36,597 CAD.

That upward move suggests the Mustang is holding buyer interest well, which can help support resale value if you decide to sell later. The current pricing also shows that shoppers are still willing to pay for this model year’s mix of performance and heritage.

For a future seller, that means a clean, well-kept example should remain attractive if it has the right trim, the right options, and solid presentation. Strong demand tends to favour cars with a clear enthusiast identity, and this Mustang has plenty of that.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Ford Mustang safe?

The 2020 Ford Mustang gets Good ratings in most IIHS crashworthiness tests, with an Acceptable rating for driver protection in a small overlap frontal-impact collision, and it earns five-star ratings in every NHTSA test, including rollover resistance.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes antilock braking, traction control, stability control, a reversing camera, MyKey, and opt-in 911 Assist. Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning is available only with the optional Electronics Package, so some used examples will be missing that extra protection.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you should verify the equipment list carefully before you buy.

Should I buy a 2020 Ford Mustang or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 7.30% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Ford’s last car sold in Canada gives this year added significance beyond its performance credentials.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $29,221 CAD, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $39,269 CAD average.
• It leans heavily into Mustang Bullitt heritage with a distinctive look and strong performance character.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of this special Mustang and are comfortable paying more, the 2020 is the better pick. If your priority is saving money while still getting the Bullitt’s character and performance, the 2019 is the smarter value play.
