How much does the 2022 Ford Mustang cost?

There are 140 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Ford Mustang a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Ford Mustang earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its performance, handling, and styling, and many also like the manual transmission option and the fun driving experience it delivers. For you, that makes sense if you want a sporty coupe or convertible with heritage appeal and everyday usability. With 31.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Ford Mustang reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many drivers feel good about living with over time, especially when it comes to performance and driving enjoyment. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to condition and maintenance history, because long-term ownership risk can rise if known mechanical or build-quality issues have not been addressed.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Mustang?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 140 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.59% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,874 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Mustang's resale value?

The current average of $40,942 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,031 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer now, but it also suggests future sellers may need to be realistic about asking prices if the market stays competitive. The current range shows there is still demand, but not enough to push values above last year’s level. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you should be in a better position to protect value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Mustang or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a strong choice if you want the Mustang’s classic performance character, broad appeal, and a market that still offers some deal potential. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
