How much does the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 8.96% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 106 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 4.93/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, smooth ride, and powerful performance, and many also like its comfort and handling in challenging weather conditions. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy, easy-to-live-with family SUV with practical everyday usability. With 35.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 4.93/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback highlights a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise centred on comfort, smooth driving manners, and confidence in everyday use. That said, some owners mention concerns about price and potential body damage, so a careful inspection still matters on the used market. For you, the long-term ownership risk looks manageable if you choose a well-kept example and verify its condition thoroughly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 106 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.96% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,546 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $25,723 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,254 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Traverse a more affordable buy today but may also limit upside for a future seller if prices stay soft. If you plan to resell later, the current trend means your return will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.93/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.93/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a spacious, comfortable, and easy-to-use three-row SUV, the 2020 Traverse is a sensible choice, especially if you find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2020’s current market position.
