Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Corvette?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 76 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.75% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $80,854 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $80,854 CAD sits slightly below last year's $84,886 CAD.

That suggests the market has eased a bit, which can make the car more attractive to buyers today but may temper short-term gains for future sellers. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell. Demand should remain supported by the model's strong owner satisfaction and performance reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $83,980 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $80,854 CAD average.
• The 2021 convertible adds a power-operated open roof for more convenient open-air driving.

The bottom line: Choose the 2020 if you want the stronger value case and a broader chance of finding a deal. Consider the 2021 if open-top driving matters enough to justify the higher price, especially if you’re willing to pay more for added convenience and a more visceral experience.
