Used 2020 Audi Q7 for Sale near Niagara Falls, ON

How much does the 2020 Audi Q7 cost?

Prices have softened 12.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 75 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, and the expert rating is 7.67/10. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise the Q7’s luxurious features, smooth and quiet ride, comfort, and safety features. The overview also points to a premium family-vehicle feel with a more modern presentation, plus a reputation for being fun to drive. On the other hand, some owners feel it is overpriced, and storage options are seen as inadequate.

The expert review backs up the appeal with a refreshed design, updated interior technology, and strong driving character. The main trade-offs are the cramped third row and limited cargo space, so you should view it as a refinement-first SUV rather than a maximum-practicality choice.

The market also looks reasonably supportive, with 32.0% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback highlights the Q7 as smooth, quiet, comfortable, and safe, with many reviewers also appreciating how well it performs in snowy conditions. The expert review adds that the mild-hybrid system operates transparently and helps reduce fuel consumption, which supports a more dependable day-to-day ownership experience.

Audi also includes a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that helps conserve fuel, and the review notes that the automatic engine stop/start and coasting functions reduce the load on the turbocharged V6. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that premium features and complex technology can make repairs and upkeep more expensive if the vehicle has been poorly maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi Q7?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Q7 comes in Komfort, Progressiv, and Technik trims. The base trim gives you the core luxury-SUV experience, but the higher trims add more of the upscale equipment and technology that make this model feel special.
• Powertrain: You can shop the 45 TFSI with a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder, the 55 TFSI with a mild-hybrid turbocharged 3.0-litre V6, or the SQ7 with a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8. The V6 is the stronger all-round choice, with 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, while the mild-hybrid system helps conserve fuel.
• Safety package: The Driver Assistance Package includes Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centring assistance. Some of these features are optional rather than standard, so check carefully before you buy.
• Infotainment: The Q7 uses a dual-screen MMI Touch Response setup with a 10.1-inch upper touchscreen and an 8.6-inch lower touchscreen. It also includes wireless Apple CarPlay, navigation, natural voice recognition, handwriting recognition, and Audi Connect subscription services.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says the Q7 should use 12.0 litres per 100 kilometres combined, and the road test returned 11.2 L/100 km. On a local fuel-testing loop, it used 13.0 L/100 km.

Which 2020 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2020 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: Komfort, Progressiv, Technik.

Here's the short version:

• Komfort: This is the entry point if you want the Q7’s core luxury, standard leather upholstery, and third-row seating without stretching to the pricier trims. It makes sense if you want the model’s refinement first and foremost.
• Progressiv: This is the trim to target if you want a better balance of equipment and value. It should give you more of the features that make the Q7 feel modern and upscale without jumping all the way to the top trim.
• Technik: This is the best-equipped version and the one that most clearly showcases the Q7’s technology and comfort upgrades, including the dual-screen infotainment setup, head-up display, adaptive air suspension, and premium cabin touches. If you want the most complete Q7 experience, this is the one to prioritise.

The safety package is available as an option, so verify whether the vehicle you’re considering has the Driver Assistance Package fitted.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi Q7?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 75 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.39% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,408 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $34,870 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,803 CAD.

That price decline suggests the Q7 has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you own one now, the current market points to softer short-term resale conditions than a year ago. Even so, the model’s premium image and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2020 Audi Q7 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS, but its headlights are rated poor.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi equips the Q7 with advanced driver-assistance systems through the Driver Assistance Package, including Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centring assistance. Those features add meaningful protection and convenience, but some are optional rather than standard, so you should confirm equipment before buying.

The main caveat is the IIHS headlight result. Even though the Q7 scores strongly in crash protection, the poor headlight assessment is the one weakness that keeps it from being an even cleaner safety story.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 model year brings a thorough refresh to the styling, interior, powertrain, and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the most modern-feeling Q7 in this generation, the 2020 is the one to focus on. It gives you the refreshed design, updated tech, and strong driving character that define the model year. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare listings carefully against nearby years, but the 2020 stands out as the more up-to-date choice.
