Used 2020 Audi Q7 for Sale near British Columbia

How much does the 2020 Audi Q7 cost?

Prices have softened 14.01% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 81 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Audi Q7 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious features, smooth and quiet ride, and comfort, and they also highlight its safety features and driveability. The overview also points to a premium family SUV that feels more modern after its refresh and remains enjoyable to drive.

The main trade-offs are its cramped third row and limited cargo space, so it suits you best if refinement and driving enjoyment matter more than maximum practicality. It also carries a premium-market price position, which may matter if you are comparing value against rivals.

With 34.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback describes the Q7 as dependable in everyday use, with praise for its smooth, quiet ride and confidence-inspiring behaviour in snowy conditions. The expert evaluation also points to a well-rounded SUV with strong driving manners and good fuel efficiency, which supports the impression of a vehicle you can count on.

Audi’s 48-volt mild-hybrid system is also described as helping to conserve fuel through extended stop/start operation and engine-off coasting, which adds a layer of efficiency-minded engineering. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that premium features and complex systems can be costly to live with if prior maintenance has been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi Q7?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Q7 comes in Komfort, Progressiv, and Technik trim levels. The higher-spec Technik adds features such as 21-inch wheels, adaptive air suspension, dual-pane acoustic side window glass, and a full-colour head-up display, while the base trim is the one most likely to leave you without some of those premium touches.
• Powertrain: You can shop the 45 TFSI with a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder, the 55 TFSI with a mild-hybrid turbocharged 3.0-litre V6, or the SQ7 with a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8. The 55 TFSI is the one highlighted for its strong acceleration, broad torque delivery, and fuel-saving 48-volt mild-hybrid system.
• Safety package: The Driver Assistance Package includes Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centring assistance. Some of these features are optional rather than standard, so you should confirm what the specific vehicle includes.
• Infotainment: The Q7 uses MMI Touch Response with a 10.1-inch upper touchscreen and an 8.6-inch lower touchscreen, plus natural voice recognition, handwriting recognition, wireless Apple CarPlay, navigation, and Audi Connect subscription services.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says the Q7 should use 12.0 L/100 km combined, and the road test returned 11.2 L/100 km on the trip and 13.0 L/100 km on a local fuel-testing loop.

Which 2020 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2020 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: Komfort, Progressiv, and Technik.

Here's the short version:

• Komfort: This is the entry point if you want the Q7 experience at the lowest price, but you should expect fewer of the upscale touches and convenience features that make the higher trims feel more complete.
• Progressiv: This is the trim to target if you want the best balance of equipment and value, since it moves you closer to the richer feature set without jumping all the way to the top-spec model.
• Technik: This is the most luxurious and best-equipped choice, adding the most desirable comfort, tech, and refinement features, so it suits you best if you want the fullest version of the Q7.

The safety package is optional, so make sure you verify whether the vehicle you are considering includes the Driver Assistance Package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi Q7?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 81 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.01% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,408 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $34,623 CAD sits slightly below last year's $40,263 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you are buying now but less favourable if you are planning to sell soon. If the market stays soft, future resale values may remain under pressure unless demand strengthens for well-equipped examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2020 Audi Q7 earns the IIHS's highest ratings, but its headlight performance is rated poor, which keeps it from earning a Top Safety Pick+ nod.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi equips the Q7 with numerous advanced driver-assistance systems, and the Driver Assistance Package includes Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centring assistance. The expert review also notes that traffic-sign recognition and lane-assist behaviour can be frustrating in real-world use, so you should test those systems carefully if the vehicle has them.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 model year brings a thorough refresh to the styling, interior, powertrain, and technology.

The bottom line: The 2020 Q7 makes the most sense if you want the refreshed design and updated tech, along with strong owner satisfaction and a softer used-market price. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on the best-equipped example you can find within your budget.
