Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 22.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $24,096 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $21,161 CAD average.
• It adds all-wheel drive and a sportier TRD option.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping the used market for a well-rated sedan. If you are price-sensitive, the 2019 is the smarter starting point; if you want the newer-year premium and added features, the 2020 is the alternative to compare.
