Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 137 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.35% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,480 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $21,547 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,009 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale values may stay under pressure if the market remains well supplied. If you plan to sell later, the current trend suggests you should focus on buying a well-kept example at a competitive price. Strong condition and good maintenance history will matter more if you want to protect value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $23,699 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $21,547 CAD average.
• It adds all-wheel drive and a TRD package option.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better value if you want a well-liked Camry at a lower average price. If you can stretch your budget and want the added appeal of all-wheel drive or the TRD option, the 2020 is the stronger upgrade path for you.
