The review summary also points to reliability, with owners describing it as dependable and trouble-free, and many saying it is a car they can count on over the long term. The current average of $183,625 CAD sits slightly below last year's $228,270 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled from a year ago, which can improve your entry point as a buyer but may also mean less upside if you plan to resell soon. Even so, the 911’s strong desirability and reputation help support demand over time. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you should be better positioned when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.73/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.73/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $151,880 CAD, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $183,625 CAD average.
• It adds a newer-generation design with a more modern feel.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the end-of-generation 991 with strong owner satisfaction and a broader spread of listings to compare. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2020 is worth a look because it comes in below the current average while offering a newer take on the 911 formula.
