Is the 2019 Nissan Qashqai a good car?

With no expert test-drive data available for this model year, the best read is the market itself: the 2019 Nissan Qashqai is trading at an average of $15,591 CAD, which is below its average price a year ago and sits within a relatively tight year-round range.

That pricing, combined with 39.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, points to a used SUV that can make sense if you shop carefully and compare condition, mileage, and history across listings.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Qashqai?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 303 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.91% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,406 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Qashqai's resale value?

The current average of $15,591 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,110 CAD.

For a future seller, that means the market has already moved lower, so your resale outcome will depend heavily on how well your vehicle stands out on condition and maintenance history. If you buy at the right price now and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation pressure later.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Qashqai or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.91% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better fit if you want a used Qashqai with softer pricing and a decent share of deal-priced listings. If you're especially price-sensitive, it can also be worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a lower-priced alternative gives you similar value for less money.
