Is the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Generally — the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder earns a 4.33/5 user rating, which points to solid owner satisfaction for a three-row SUV. The overview shows a family-friendly focus, with three rows of seating, a spacious interior, and useful everyday versatility for people and cargo. It also stands out for towing strength, with capability reaching 2,720 kilograms, while available convenience features help it feel well equipped for family use. With 31.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also points to a practical, comfort-focused SUV with a proven family-use layout and useful equipment, which can be encouraging for used buyers. That said, you should pay close attention to maintenance history and test-drive behaviour, since earlier fourth-generation models were affected by CVT concerns.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 194 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.19% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $18,275 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $18,275 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,897 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you are buying now but less favourable if you plan to sell soon. If the market stays soft, future resale gains may be limited unless your vehicle is especially well kept and attractively equipped. For a seller, the current pricing environment means condition, service records, and trim appeal will matter more when it comes time to list.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Pathfinder makes sense if you want a roomy, family-friendly three-row SUV with strong towing ability and you value current pricing that has come down meaningfully. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge alone.
