Is the 2019 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Nissan Murano earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its luxurious feel, smooth ride, and advanced technology, and many also like the comfortable seats and spacious interior. It fits especially well if you want a comfort-first midsize SUV with a more upscale cabin and a quiet, refined personality. Is the 2019 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in day-to-day use, with owners highlighting its smooth ride and comfortable, trouble-free character. That kind of praise matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for regular commuting and family duty. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the vehicle has been maintained properly, especially given the Murano’s comfort-focused design and CVT-equipped drivetrain.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 238 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.21% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,223 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $19,223 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,671 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Murano has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you buy now and plan to own it for a few years. If market conditions stay steady, future resale value should be shaped by how well the vehicle is equipped, maintained, and presented when you eventually sell. Because the current average is below last year’s level, there may be less immediate downside than there was a year ago.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a sensible choice if you want the Murano’s comfort-first character, strong owner approval, and a market that still offers some deal potential. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2019 stands out as a balanced pick when you want a well-liked used SUV with softer pricing than a year ago.
