Is the 2020 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Nissan Murano earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, smooth ride, and feature content, and many describe it as feeling more upscale than you might expect. It also fits well if you want a comfort-first midsize SUV with a quiet, easygoing character and a cabin that feels well equipped. With 30.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still some attractive options in the market.

Is the 2020 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience centred on comfort and everyday usability. That kind of response suggests the Murano can be a reassuring used buy if you want something you can count on for regular driving. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright satisfaction and more about finding one that has been maintained well and still feels as solid as its reputation suggests.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 244 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.96% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,217 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $22,217 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,525 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Murano has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than before. If you buy at today’s average, you may have less room for appreciation in the near term, especially if the broader market stays competitive. On the other hand, a well-kept example with desirable equipment and strong presentation should still hold buyer interest better than a neglected one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 Murano makes sense if you want a comfort-focused midsize SUV with strong owner approval and a market that has become more favourable for buyers. If your priority is value, the 2020 is the better path to consider first; if you want to stretch for a newer example, compare nearby years only after checking whether the extra cost brings enough equipment or condition advantage to justify it.
