Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Micra?

You are looking at a moderate buyer's market, so it makes sense to compare listings closely and move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 22.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 62 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $11,674 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Micra's resale value?

The current average of $12,570 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,709 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at the right end of the range, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. For a future resale, condition and mileage will matter even more when the market is already leaning softer.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Micra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 22.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.31% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better path if you want a lower current average price and a market that has eased compared with last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is still worth comparing nearby model years and focusing on the best-priced listings rather than buying the first one you see.
