Is the 2019 Mazda CX-3 a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Mazda CX-3 earns a 5/5 user rating, which is a strong sign that owners are very satisfied with it. Owners consistently praise its sporty, fun-to-drive character, stylish design, and great fuel economy. It also fits well if you want a compact SUV that feels more polished and engaging than many rivals, though its cramped interior means it suits you best if style and efficiency matter more than maximum space. With 30.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Mazda CX-3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable and trouble-free in everyday use, with praise centred on the kind of ownership experience you can count on. That said, as with any used vehicle, your long-term risk depends on maintenance history, so a well-documented example is the safer choice.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mazda CX-3?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

• Deal availability: 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 150 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,197 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mazda CX-3's resale value?

The current average of $17,562 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,271 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the CX-3 is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago, which can make it easier for you to get into one now. For a future seller, the same trend means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and equipment than it would be in a stronger market. Well-kept examples should still attract attention, especially if they present as clean, efficient, and well equipped.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mazda CX-3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the CX-3's sporty feel, stylish design, and strong owner approval, the 2019 is a solid choice. If you're more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge.
